"Painting, like music, has nothing to do with the reproduction of nature, nor interpretation of intellectual meanings. Whoever is able to feel the beauty of colors and forms has understood non-objective painting." - Hilla Rebay
Like walking through an enigmatic dream, Musa entices his viewers with yet another elusive abstract painting on silk. By adopting the Batik Tulis technique, he translated his artistic interpretations using a canting, a tool filled with hot wax that acts like a pen to resist dyes from penetrating the unwanted areas. All Batik paintings go through wax-dye-boil method, making each art a worthy treasure.
